Orbit started in 2019 as a side project between four friends who were tired of feeds that optimised for outrage. We wanted a place organised around interests, where a good thread could stay readable and a small community could feel small.
Orbit is subscription-supported. We don't sell ads and we don't sell data. A free tier covers the basics; a paid tier funds the servers and the team.
